What was your first job in music?
My first job was an intern with sync agency, Madden Flow Entertainment. Funny enough, though I’ve upwardly expanded outside of a coordinator role elsewhere, I’ve kept my first job and tease my boss that I’m never leaving. I’ve always had an ear and snuck in the door with no formal music education.

What was a lesson you learned at the start of your career that you still carry with you?
Be nice and DO NOT put off for tomorrow, what you can do today. Task management is serious business. Make a list, be thorough and intentional, get it done and move on. There will be more to do. I’ve learned to help me help myself this way and have ultimately closed the procrastination gap I used to have, while chunking out deliverables and prioritizing as need be.
What was your favorite memory from your first job?
Favorite memories include getting out into the field and representing Madden Flow Entertainment in spaces like the Los Angeles College of Music for their student showcases or film festivals like Micheaux on panels about sync and music supervision. It feels great to be trusted and respected on and offline with warmth and proficiency from my team and the greater art community.
