Music Industry 2026 Mentorship Program
About the Program
Queer Capita’s music industry mentorship program supports our mission of the equitable sharing of industry knowledge. By pairing music industry executives with early- to mid-career professionals, we will facilitate knowledge transfer and the building of meaningful relationships.
The four-month-long program is open to any LGBTQ+ or allied music industry professionals in the NYC area, with mentorship pairings meeting in person four times (once per month) to discuss mentees' professional growth and trajectory.
At the end of the program, all mentorship pairings will gather for a luncheon in NYC on November 7th, 2026, to meet their mentors and mentees and discuss their experiences in the program.
Who is Eligible
Any music industry professional living in the NYC metro area with fewer than 10 years of industry experience is eligible to apply for the program.
What does it cost
The program is completely free, though all participants will be required to sign an agreement confirming that they can complete the program.
