What was your first job in music?

An internship with Ministry of Sound and TMRW Agency in Sydney, Australia. I was studying economics at the time and cold emailed anyone in music in the area asking for ANY type of work until, finally, Ministry responded. I supported the Touring and Marketing group for names like The Stafford Brothers, Timmy Trumpet, Pnau, and more. LEGENDS!

Who was someone who supported you to help you get your start in your career?

Meg Pollaro is one of the most wonderful gals in this business. She is highly passionate, great at conflict resolution, and makes amazing things happen every day. I’m inspired by her incredible care for the music and experiential industry.

What was a lesson you learned at the start of your career that you still carry with you?

The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Put yourself out there! Send that cold email and make that cold call. We cannot assume others all feel, think, or work in the same manner. You have to reach out.

What was your favorite memory from your first job?

One of my favorite memories was booking music talent for Fortnite World Cup events back in 2018/19 as well as working across operations and ticketing. For the first time, I was able to witness successes from execution at scale. Hundreds of thousands of folks were touched and we had delivered for them. Also, Miss Universe was an incredible feat!

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Be curious and open minded. Early in your career, you will be exposed to all corners of the entertainment industry. Resist the urge to go deep on just one thing. The real learning comes from seeing how everything connects. Being open minded to different verticals has allowed me to work on hybrid opportunities across the entertainment industry, like in 2026, I’m working in the podcast industry.
